Winter Lights 2011 will consider New Zealand’s longer-term energy future with an emphasis on the role of fossil fuels in transitioning the country to a more sustainable, low carbon economy. This is the first in a series of Thought Leadership Forums being planned and run by the National Energy Research Institute (NERI).
NERI supported 6 students who presented research posters at the 2008 Energy Summit, which was held on September 15/16 at Te Papa, Wellington.
This conference follows on from the very successful inaugural NERI conference, held at The University of Auckland in November 2007. The theme for NERI’09 is “Knowing More, Doing Better”.
The University of Auckland and the National Energy Research Institute (NERI) are hosting a unique opportunity for New Zealand researchers to come together and share their current work.
