NERI, National Energy Research Institute

Partners

NERI is a non-constituted collaboration established formally in 2007. NERI's 14 partners are cosignatories to a Memorandum of Understanding which has, as its aim:

"To assist in New Zealand's transition to a sustainable energy future through promoting highquality, integrated energy research and development involving all relevant disciplinary fields."

NERI is run by a Partner Committee where representatives of each partner meet to discuss energy research, capability building and support the activities of NERI.

In October 2008, the NERI Partner Committee endorsed a proposal to implement a new structure for NERI. This proposal is still under development, and will be implemented gradually over 2009.

If you are a research institution interesting in joining NERI, or wish to support NERI's activities through sponsorship, please contact the NERI Convenor.
