NERI supported 6 students who presented research posters at this year’s Energy Summit, which was held on September 15/16 at Te Papa, Wellington.

NERI’09, the second NERI Energy Conference, will be held 16-17 April 2009. Abstract submissions are due 28 Nov 2008 on the theme NERI’09 – “Knowing More, Doing Better”. For more details and to register for the conference, see the NERI’09 conference homepage.

The Centre for Energy Research at Massey University (MUCER) hosted the 2008 Energy Postgraduate Conference in Wellington, at the Massey University Campus, on June 3-5 2008.

Energy, Transport and Sustainability: Discovering Pathways to 2040 was a two-day symposium showcasing New Zealand energy transport research and facilitating discussion on research and policy priorities. Papers from the symposium are now available online below.

This conference, a first for NERI, was run in partnership with the Institute of Earth Science and Engineering at The University of Auckland on November 22 and 23 2007 with the theme: ‘Research informing the energy debates’.
